Seasonal Changes in Symptoms
Symptoms of some chronic illnesses get worse or better as the seasons change, sometimes with seemingly little explanation. However, a 2015 study in the journal Nature Communications suggests there’s an explanation after all. Due to the fact that the seasons have an effect on when certain genes are active, it’s important to put strategies into place to prevent flare-ups.
