Chief Medical Officer

Robert W. Jackson, D.O., F.A.C.O.I., F.A.C.R, joined as chief medical officer in September 2017. Dr. Jackson is currently president of Premier Specialty Network and is a full-time rheumatologist practicing at eight hospitals in Missouri and Iowa. In 1999, Dr. Jackson, as Associate Dean of Academic Medicine at A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri, aided with the establishment of five critical access hospitals in north Missouri. He founded Premier Specialty Network in 2007 as an organization that provides clinical access to medical and surgical specialists in rural community hospitals. PSN now provides specialty clinics in 70 hospitals in 8 states, and is the largest rheumatology outreach network in the United States. Dr. Jackson completed a four-year tour of duty with the National Health Corps in rural Southern Missouri, and is board certified in the specialty of Internal Medicine as well as the subspecialty of Rheumatology.
