Dr. Andrew Lasher Joins IVX Health As Chief Medical Officer

Lasher will lead clinical operations and focus on best-in-class patient engagement.

IVX Health, a national provider of biologic infusion and injection therapyannounced today that Dr. Andrew Lasher will join the company’s executive team as its Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Lasher will lead clinical strategy and operations for IVX Health, advancing its efforts to address the challenge of rising drug spend while improving the patient experience for those with complex chronic conditions.

Dr. Lasher joins IVX from Aspire Health, where he helped the company establish a unique model for palliative care and broaden their national footprint from one market to forty in the span of six years.

“We are pleased to have Dr. Lasher as part of the IVX Health team,” said Doug Ghertner, CEO of IVX Health. “Dr. Lasher is a clinically minded, growth-oriented leader who will help deliver new opportunities for clinical innovation and product development as we meet the marketplace need.”

“Research shows that exceptional care experiences help patients adhere to treatment, experience better mental health and overall improve their lives,” Ghertner continued. “A great Chief Medical Officer makes these outcomes more likely, and we’re confident about the contributions Dr. Lasher will bring to the company.”

With the hire of Dr. Lasher and the recent $22 million in capital raised, IVX Health—which currently serves patients with a variety of complex chronic conditions—is focused on how it can continue to innovate in the infusion space. For example, as physicians now more readily identify and diagnose chronic illness at a younger age, traditional care sites are often unable to meet the unique needs of the growing population of pediatric infusion patients. IVX Health believes it can optimize its clinical offering in new and customized ways to redefine the care experience for this vulnerable population.

“I am thrilled to be joining this talented team,” stated Dr. Lasher. “I aglad to partner with our interdisciplinary workforce of nurses, nurse practitioners and doctors to continue cultivating a best-in-class work experience—happy, forward-thinking clinicians lead to clinical excellenceI am excited to build on the amazing work that is already underway at IVX Health in transforming the patient experience.”

IVX Health treats patients with a variety of chronic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s disease and multiple sclerosis. Recent studies reveal the need for infusion care sites that are affordable, flexible, and highly tailored to the individual needs of its patients.

IVX Health cares for thousands of patients in more than a dozen centers across the country. Centers operate under the name and brand Infusion Express in Kansas City, Philadelphia, Chicago, and San Francisco and under the IVX Health banner in Nashville and Columbus, Ohio.
