For over 20 years, Precision has cared for patients with complex chronic conditions. Operating across 12 centers in Tennessee and northern Arkansas, Precision administers a similar formulary of infusion and injection therapies as IVX Health. It’s team of highly skilled infusion nurses, nurse practitioners, business operators and other staff have built an impressive business, with many meaningful, long-lasting relationships with patients and referring providers.

By joining with Precision, IVX Health accelerates its national growth strategy, improving access for patients by expanding the IVX Health footprint in the Southeast while contributing to the depth and experience of our clinical team and supporting staff. IVX Health’s steadfast commitment to world-class service and clinical excellence is shared by the team at Precision.

Moving forward, the corporate team at Precision Healthcare will immediately rebrand as IVX Health, but existing Precision centers will continue to operate under the Precision name and brand for a period of time, with a goal of unifying all locations under the IVX Health brand over the coming year.

Together as one, we will be able to redefine the care experience – and improve the lives – of even more patients.

Patient FAQ

On October 14th, 2020, IVX Health announced that it has welcomed Nashville-based Precision Healthcare, one of the leading ambulatory infusion providers in the Southeast, to its team. The following memo provides answers to many frequently asked questions for referring providers.

Why did IVX Health decide to join together with Precision Healthcare?

For over 20 years, Precision Healthcare has built a strong reputation with its community of patients and referring specialist physicians through its commitment to high-quality, personalized care. Precision has a team of dedicated and highly skilled infusion nurses, nurse practitioners, and other clinicians who administer a similar formulary of biologic infusion and injection therapies as IVX Health.

Beyond its presence in Nashville, Precision Healthcare has centers in several markets that are a top priority for IVX Health moving forward. With the combined offering, IVX Health accelerates its national growth strategy by adding to an already expansive footprint in the Southeast.

What does this mean for me as a Precision Healthcare patient?

Aside from the two companies expanding their presence to further reach and provide world-class care for those with complex chronic conditions, nothing will change about the quality, personalized care you’ve received in the past. In addition, we are reaching out and coordinating with your referring specialists to notify them of the exciting news. You won’t have to change anything!

Will I have the same team of nurses?

Yes! Precision’s talented team of clinicians are an integral part of the Precision Healthcare team. IVX Health will be supporting and growing our clinical teams across the existing Precision Healthcare sites, and there are no changes to clinical teams as a result of this announcement.

Do I have to go to a different center?

In almost all cases, you will continue to receive care at the same center as you have in the past. With our expanded footprint, you may have the option to receive care at a different center in the future should you find a more convenient location. If there are any changes to where you currently receive care, we will proactively communicate with you and ensure a smooth transition to a different IVX Health / Precision Healthcare center.

Will I stay in-network?

Yes! There will be no changes to your healthcare insurance in-network status and drug authorization as a result of this announcement. If you have any questions about your specific policy, a member of our team would be more than happy to assist.

Will my patient statements be different?

No! At this time, you will continue to receive patient statements as you have in the past. We will proactively communicate with you in the future if any information changes regarding your bill.

Will all locations become IVX Health?

In the short-term, there are no name or branding changes to existing Precision Healthcare facilities. We do believe that a single, cohesive brand is the best approach moving forward, and thus we have a plan for Precision Healthcare to fully transition under the IVX Health name. This cosmetic change will not impact your care in any way.

Provider FAQ

How will this benefit my practice?

For providers, the additional physical footprint of infusion centers – along with an expanded formulary – makes referring to IVX Health an even easier choice. IVX is committed to strengthening the existing relationships with Precision’s referring providers. Not only will we continue to take amazing care of patients, but we also have an intentional focus on reducing the administrative burden of provider offices – such as facilitating the prior authorization process and ensuring consistent, proactive communication.
